CAO Gold Double Corona review INTUITIVE...hope i spelled that right

Okay, so finally I had a chance to truly taste and write down my thoughts on the CAO Gold cigars I had (that I murdered and then tried to revive) and matched to a fresh, un-murdered cigar. Well, I must say, the cigar was very good, not quite the same or to the level of greatness as the fresh cigar.

The cigar was a CAO Gold Double Corona.
"CAO Gold features one of the prettiest Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrappers ever seen. They are soft to the touch, plus you can actually see the oils ooze from them as you smoke. The cigars start with a light bite, but once warmed they become very creamy and nutty. Although often overlooked, this is great blend for someone looking for a milder smoke with flavorful body." Says JR Cigar. I would agree with that on a whole, however I would disagree with the light bite at the beginning of the light up.

I felt this cigar was very smooth, and warm, with hazelnut vanillas poking its head out very vaguely and blended quite well with my Dunkin Donuts coffee (hazelnut cream sugar) and I would smoke for sure as a bed-time cigar or early morning wake up cigar. The cigar was quite inviting, always having a welcome in every puff. There was nothing vigorous about the cigar, gentle for sure.

I rate this cigar (both fresh and murdered) as an 8/10 for the usual properties, which can be found in my Montecristo White review.

Here is what JR Cigar has on this product, both the 5 Pack and their Case.

Happy smoking. More to come for sure!

Brad
