Thank You Old Timer ;-)

My travels today shall be a special trip to a cigar store in Perth Amboy NJ, where I have only visited once. The name is Alvarez Cigars. A review of their cigars and (From what I remember) how great they are.

I would like to thank our shall we say "Old Timer" (if he wishes to be named as such.. depends on if his identity is to remain not known to the public) for his great contribution in blog recently. I had the pleasure of having lunch and a cigar with him. His wealth of knowledge and understanding is great and I am forever in debt to him for such a great afternoon, so thanks "Gramps".

More to come for sure BUT I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT...

Montecristo officially is on my bad list. I tried a Cristo Afrique Kilimanjaro (hope spelling is correct) and it took 10 min to light and had to request another, because it was too tight. The second was less tight, but still was quite constipated. Most of my other Cristos' as well have been way too tight.

By the way, my humidor is steady at 69-71%humidity swing within the past month.... so I doubt that's cause.

So.. keep your eyes out folks, their slipping down there at the Cristo Factory.
